John W. Stilp, a native of Appleton, Wisconsin, received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 1974. He graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 1978. His internship was served at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Milwaukee with completion in 1979.
Dr. Stilp completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Detroit Receiving Hospital, affiliated with Wayne State University School of Medicine, Detroit, Michigan. He has been in practice in Wausau since 1982.
Dr. Stilp is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and has Fellowship status in the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. In addition, he is a member of the American Dental Association, and is the Director of the Central Wisconsin Dental Forum, a regional Dental Study Club.
